Imperfettolab has developed its own idiom in the world of design: through self-production it gives life to a collection of objects and furniture which maintain an interest in the possibilities of sculptural expression and handicraft. Design is not separated from the procedure of handicraft. In the process of making, the originating intuition is shaped and sculpted by expert hands giving life to a full-scale model which then, through a mould, transfers to its multiples the characters of form and substance. In the sequence of manufacturing, the finish, careful and meticulous, different for every kind of object, allows each piece to find its identity and uniqueness. Forms are curvilinear and matter is preferentially in fibreglass which Imperfettolab masters in all its possible metamorphoses, thanks to skills and expertise obtained in the course of time.
