Laura G presents her “Art with Heart” collection of photo frames at the prestigious Galleria Scacchi Giovanni in the Brera Design District. To mark the occasion a captivating, symbolic installation has been created, in which varying heights and pop icons highlight how these collectors’ items can frame the unframeable. The area where the frames are displayed is under the watchful eye of a huge Felix the Cat, the famous cartoon character created early last century by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer. This exhibition of Laura G’s Art with Heart collection in the Brera Design District accurately reflects her philosophy, that of subverting with simplicity, innovation and elegance the collective imagination of the traditional frame, which until now has been merely used as a photo holder.
