Piuarch will show the Kinetic Garden
At Fuorisalone 2016 Piuarch pays tribute to Carlos Cruz-Diez, Venezuelan artist, with an optical installation created with botanical essences. Chromatic effects make dynamic and suggestive the roof of the studio, via Palermo 1, Milan.
For the Design Week 2016, Piuarch dedicates to the kinetic art the special set-up of the rooftop garden in Via Palermo 1.
In the heart of Brera, the Kinetic Garden is a tribute to the work of the Venezuelan artist Carlos Cruz-Diez, he has always been a reference point and inspiration for the Studio.
The project is a collaboration with landscape architect Cornelius Gavril, with flowers and fragrances, he designs the space in order to give the visitor the feeling of movement and dynamism typical of the optical art.
The peculiar structure of flower beds and pallets created by Piuarch on the roof of the building housing the Studio, host 4 plants - two varieties of salad in red and green colors and two pansy in orange and blue - arranged in straight lines that are repeated constantly, where each color defines a uniform strip.
The chromatic effect is amplified by the use of triangular axis placed along the lines of color, to increase the depth. The installation creates an active relationship between space and the visitors: the image changes and becomes dynamic thanks to the people's movement in space.
The partners of the project are Verde Vivo for the preparation of plants and Vivai Mandelli who realized the construction.
